These zero backlash brake modules are ideal as redundant safety brakes for z-axis applications or to stop high inertia systems from coasting after a power interruption. The spring applied brakes offer high holding torques and short emergency stopping distances. These modules mount between the servo motor and the gear reducer or on the free end of a ball screw spindle. Nexen offers a wide range of sizes and flanges to fit any brand of motor.
